What the live site does with your data
Interactive sample
The hero "Play interactive sample" runs entirely in your browser against a fixed illustrative EPC contract. No file is uploaded, no data is sent, nothing is stored.
Waitlist form
When you join the waitlist, your name, work email, company (optional), role, plan preference and challenge description (optional) are submitted through Netlify Forms. We use this to invite you when each tier opens, to send you concrete offers before public launch, and to understand what the market most wants. We will not share this with third parties.
5Cs Control Score (quiz)
The quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere unless you choose to submit your email on the result page, in which case your email, score and verdict are captured through Netlify Forms. You can unsubscribe any time.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled on the deployed site, we count page views and anonymous interaction events (interactive sample played, waitlist CTA clicked, waitlist submitted, quiz completed). We do not collect IP addresses or set tracking cookies, and we do not use any ad-tech. The analytics provider used (where applicable) is published here before launch.
What the paid tiers will do
When Clerk Starter and the tiers above open, documents you upload will be encrypted in transit and at rest, processed to generate the report, and either deleted after processing (entry tier) or stored in your account only on tiers where you ask us to. The full policy covering AI processing providers, retention windows, deletion workflows and sub-processors will be published on this page before the first paid tier opens — in time for you to review it before you decide whether to use it.
What we never do
- We never sell your data.
- We never share your waitlist signups or documents with third parties beyond the processors needed to run the service.
- We never use your documents to train AI models.
- We never contact you without consent.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can request access, correction, deletion or export of your data, and object to processing, by writing to hello@thecontractclerk.com. We respond within 30 days.
